When Annaleece and Jared brought me on as their luxury wedding day content creator for their wedding at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, I knew it would be something special. From our very first conversation, Annaleece told me she had a clear vision, and it was anything but traditional. What I didn’t expect was just how immersive and transportive the entire experience would be. It felt like stepping straight into a Lana Del Rey music video: crimson red tones, velvet textures, vintage glamour, and a haunting, wistful beauty that lingered in every detail. From the atmosphere to the aesthetics, everything about this wedding was deeply emotional, visually unforgettable, and crafted with intention to not only celebrate their love but to make a lasting impression far beyond that one day.
The Broadmoor is already one of the most timeless and luxurious venues in Colorado, with its European-inspired charm and stunning mountain views. But that night, it became something even more. The ceremony space was draped in rich red velvet, creating a bold and intimate atmosphere under a huge chandelier. Hundreds of candles and rose petals lined the aisle, adding a delicate softness that balanced the drama perfectly.
Annaleece and Jared have a more alternative look, and they brought that unique energy into every detail of their wedding day. Annaleece wore her blonde hair in loose curls, with a cathedral-length lace veil that doubled as a blusher as she walked down the aisle. The look was timeless with a touch of drama. Around her neck, she wore a strand of pearls, which added a soft contrast to her bouquet of deep purple calla lilies. Jared’s look was just as striking. He wore a white suit jacket with black pants, custom cufflinks, a Louis Vuitton bracelet, and sleek shoes with iconic red bottoms. One of my favorite moments was the late-night pizza snack. Annaleece had custom pizza boxes made, and when they brought the pizzas out onto the checkered dance floor, the couple laid down right there as the colorful lights moved and changed around them. Jared and Annaleece took big bites of pizza while their photographer and I captured the moment from above. It made for some epic photos and videos. Another unforgettable highlight was when Annaleece brought huge cardboard cutouts of her cats’ heads onto the dance floor and started dancing with them. The cutouts were an instant hit with guests and quickly became a viral sensation on TikTok. The reel I created of that moment now has nearly two million views. It was a perfect example of how this wedding blended intimate personal touches with grand, cinematic style.
